There will be four rounds of counselling, running until October 30, 2024, with a possibility of extension if seats remain vacant.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences has announced that the NEET-PG 2024 will occur on August 11, 2024. Originally, the NEET-PG was set for June 23, but the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) postponed it due to concerns about the fairness of competitive exams in the country. The exam will have two shifts. The cut-off date for eligibility to take the NEET-PG 2024 remains August 15, 2024.
