Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) is a State Agricultural University located in the Hyderabad city of Indian State Telangana. The University was established on June 12, 1964, by Late Shri Bahadur Lal Shashtri (then, Prime Minister of India) with an aim to provide opportunities for the citizens of the state and the country for education in the field of agriculture in its broad sense and to promote research, field and extension programs in agriculture and allied sciences. It offers various UG, PG, Ph.D., and Polytechnic courses in streams like Agricultural Sciences, Engineering and Home Science, etc. since inceptions.
