About the exam:

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate is a post-graduate level medical entrance examination for students wanting to pursue MD/MS or PG diploma programs in the medical field.   The conducting body of this exam is the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The examination is conducted online (computer-based mode). NBE conducts this exam for 13,649 MS, 26168 MD seats and 922 PG diploma seats offered by various medical institutes/colleges in India.

For NEET PG 2023 exam, the students need to complete the six steps process of the NEET PG application form which includes registration, filling of details in the form, uploading scanned documents/images, choosing the exam city, paying the fee and printing the confirmation page. The fee of the application form can be paid through online mode using a credit/debit card or internet banking. 

The students who are planning to sit for the NEET PG examination must read the admission process, eligibility criteria, exam dates, and fee-related information beforehand to avoid any problems.

Important dates of the NEET PG 2023 exam:

1. Online submission of the application form- January 5 (3 pm onwards) to January 27, 2023 (till 11.55 pm)
2. NEET PG Admit Card release date- February 27, 2023
3. Date of examination- 5 march 2023
4. Declaration of the results- by March 31, 2023

What is the exam pattern of NEET PG 2023?:

The NEET PG 2023 syllabus is based on the curriculum of the MBBS course. The syllabus covers the three major sections of the question paper, section a (clinical), Section B (pre-clinical) and Section C (Para-clinical). The questions are asked from these three sections. Some of the topics asked in the question paper are anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, microbiology, forensic medicine and social and preventive medicine etc.

What is the eligibility required for NEET PG 2023?:

The students should know the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form to avoid any problems during registration for the exam. The general NEET PG criteria are mentioned below.

1. The candidate should have qualified for his/her MBBS course from a recognized medical institute in India.
2. The student should have a provisional or permanent registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC).
3. The candidate must have completed their internship or is likely to complete it on or before 31 March 2023. 

NEET PG 2023 result and scorecard:

After the results are announced by NBE, NBE shares the NEET PG toppers list. The result of the NEET PG is released on the official website of the exam. The result is released in pdf format. For downloading the result, the student needs to log in with his/her registered account. Once he/she opens his/her account, he/she will be able to see the result. After that students are advised to download the copy of the result in hardcopy for future use. The NEET PG result is valid for that particular year in which he/she has appeared.

How can you fill out the examination form for NEET PG 2023?

The NEET PG aspirants can follow the below-mentioned step-by-step guide to fill out the NEET PG examination form. The steps include user registration, uploading of documents and images, filling in the important information in the form, fee payment and submission etc.

• Firstly the student will have to visit the National Board of Examinations (NBE) website and click on the NEET PG 2023 registration link. Once the student clicks on the link, a new window will be opened where the instruction page will appear on the computer screen. After reading the guidelines, the student will have to click on the 'proceed' button. After the student clicks on that button, the application form will appear on their screen. Now the student will fill in all the required information such as the mother's name, father's name, address, contact details, Id proof, email id etc.
• After he/she clicks on the 'save and proceed button', they'll get an I'd and password on their registered phone number and email id. Then they can log in with that I'd and go forward with the application form.
• Then the applicant will choose his/her preferred exam city/ location where he/she wants to give the exam. By selecting the exam centres, applicants can also check the availability of seats in different cities. The seats are given on a first come first serve basis. The exam city is confirmed after the fee payment.
• After selecting the city, now the student will upload the scanned documents/images. Once done with this step, he/she needs to click on the 'accept' button to go ahead.
• Now the candidate will pay the application form fee through a credit/debit card or net banking facility.
• Once all steps are completed, the filled form will be shown on the screen then the candidate needs to submit the form.

The candidate is also requested to save the printout of the form for future use.

NEET PG 2023 Application fees:

The application fee for general/OBC category students is INR 5015. For SC/ST/PwD candidates, the application fee is INR 3835.
