The University Institute of Technology (UIT) is a constituent institute of Himachal Pradesh University, on the university's Summer Hill campus in Shimla.
The University Institute of Information Technology is a constituent institute of Himachal Pradesh University on its Summer Hill campus in Shimla. It began operations on 11 September 2000 with an intake of 60 students in the B.Tech Information Technology programme, and added a B.Tech Computer Science programme in 2013.
