Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research is a private, non-profit deemed university in Chennai, India. It was established in 1985 as Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute, was conferred deemed university status in September 1994, and was renamed to its present title in August 2018. It has grown from healthcare education into fifteen faculties covering medicine, dentistry, engineering, allied health sciences, pharmacy, management, nursing, physiotherapy and public health, on a 150-acre campus with two on-campus hospitals.
