Sardar Patel University - Vallabh Vidyanagar

Sardar Patel University is a state university at Vallabh Vidyanagar, an educational township close to Anand in Gujarat. It was established by an Act of the Legislative Assembly of the then Bombay Province in December 1955. It has 27 postgraduate departments, one constituent college and 133 affiliated colleges, which teach the undergraduate courses. Postgraduate degrees, diplomas and advanced certificate courses run under faculties that include science, arts, commerce, management, engineering, pharmacy, medicine, homeopathy, home science, law and education.
