Raiganj University is a state university at Raiganj, the district headquarters of Uttar Dinajpur in West Bengal.
Raiganj University is a state university at Raiganj, the district headquarters of Uttar Dinajpur in West Bengal. It was established on 3 February 2015 under the Raiganj University Act, West Bengal Act XXVI of 2014, by upgrading the state-aided Raiganj College, and it is the first unitary university in North Bengal. It teaches on its own campus in two shifts, with 22 undergraduate and 23 postgraduate departments and 17 departments running doctoral and MPhil work.
