North Orissa University - Baripada

Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, formerly North Orissa University, is an affiliating university at Takatpur in Baripada, in the Mayurbhanj district of Odisha. The Government of Orissa created it under Section 32 of the Odisha University Act, 1989 by notification dated 13 July 1998, carving it out of Utkal University, and it became operational in 1999 on a campus of 98.84 acres. Its central library, set up in 2001, holds 54,099 books and subscribes to 58 journals and 17 magazines.
