ILS Law College is a private law college in Pune run by the Indian Law Society. Its roots go back to 'The New Law Class, Bombay', started in 1903 by J. R. Gharpure and P. B. Shingne, and to the Fergusson College Law Class of 1908. After the Indian Law Society was formed on 4 March 1923, the college itself commenced operation on 20 June 1924. It offers B.A.LL.B., B.B.A.LL.B., LL.B., LL.M. and Ph.D. programmes.
