The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode also known as the IIM Kozhikode is an autonomous business school located in Calicut (Kozhikode), Kerala. It was set up in 1966 by the Government of India in collaboration with the State Government of Kerala. IIM Kozhikode is one of the 20 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). In the NIRF Rankings of 2021, the institute has been ranked 4th in the management category. The institute conducts a full range of academic activities in the field of management education covering research, teaching, and training, consulting and intellectual infrastructure development. The institute emphasises the development of analytical skills and a focus on global and cross-cultural issues with a balance between business demands and social concerns. The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode began with a batch of 42 students in 1997 and has expanded over the years. In India, IIM Kozhikode was the first to introduce the Interactive - Learning (I-L) Programme for working executives IIM Kozhikode is well-equipped with a highly qualified and devoted team of 73 faculty members. The university also invites visiting faculty members related to the field of business studies from various other universities and management institutes. IIM Kozhikode has classrooms designed to provide a conducive learning environment to students, advanced computer labs, auditoriums with a seating capacity of up to 400 people, mess facilities, and more. IIM Kozhikode offers PG courses as well as doctoral programmes in different fields of specialisations. The admission in PGP in Liberal Studies & Management and Business Leadership is offered based on the GMAT, GRE/CAT score of the candidate. A valid CAT score is required for admission to PGP. For the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management, students need to have an EMAT score.
