IIIT Vadodara is an Institute of National Importance established in 2013 by India's Ministry of Education under a Public-Private Partnership with the Government of Gujarat, the Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute, Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd and Tata Consultancy Services. It currently operates from temporary quarters at the Government Engineering College, Sector-28, Gandhinagar, while its permanent campus is developed on 62.5 acres at Dumad, Vadodara; it also runs an international campus at Diu (IIITV-ICD).
