GITAM, the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, was founded in 1980 and takes its inspiration from the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
GITAM, the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management, was founded in 1980 and takes its inspiration from the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. It teaches through 12 schools spread over four campuses, at Visakhapatnam, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and its medical campus GIMSR. The Visakhapatnam campus is at Gandhi Nagar, Rushikonda, Andhra Pradesh. GITAM Institute of Medical Sciences and Research houses 13 clinical departments and more than 600 medical students.
