HDFC Bank today announced the launch of Covid Crisis Support Scholarship for students who have been impacted by Covid19. The scholarship is part of Parivartan, HDFC Bank’s umbrella for its social responsibility. 

The scholarship programme is meant for school students as well as those pursuing UG, PG and diploma courses. Under this scholarship scheme, students will be provided with a one-time financial assistance ranging from Rs 15,000 to Rs 75,000. The programme is available to students who have: 

1. lost either or both of their parent(s)

2. earning family member(s) have lost their employment (or livelihood) during the pandemic 

The bank has created a corpus of Rs 9 crore for the Parivartan Covid Crisis Support Scholarship. The Parivartan Covid Crisis Support Scholarship will help around 3,200 students under two categories

• Only Indian nationals are eligible.
• Students must be studying in class 6th to 12th in any recognised private, government or government-aided school.
• Students must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in the previous examination.
• Annual family income must be less than or equal to ₹ 2.5 lakh

• Visit the Buddy4Study official website.
• Look for the scholarship.
• Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.
• Register using your email/ Facebook/ Gmail account.
• The application form will appear on the screen.
• Click on the ‘Start Application’ button and begin.
• Fill in all the details in the respective fields.
• Upload the required documents.
• Preview the completed application form and check all the details carefully before final submission. If there is any mistake, correct it. If not, submit the completed application form.
