What is the VITEEE 2023 examination?

The full form of the VITEEE 2023 exam is the Vellore Institute of Technology Engineering Entrance Examination. This exam is conducted by the Vellore Institute of Technology University, Tamil Nadu. Through this examination, the students get admission into various UG engineering programmes. The exam is conducted once a year. After clearing the examination, the students get an opportunity to study at VIT campuses. VITEEE scores are accepted at all the campuses of VIT ie VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai, VIT Bhopal, and VIT Amaravati campuses. What is the VITEEE 2023 exam pattern?

The Students who are preparing for the VITEEE examination, are advised to first check the exam pattern for a better understanding of the exam. The mode of VITEEE exam is online. The students will have to solve 125 objective-type questions within 2.30 hours. The language of the questions will be English and there is no negative marking scheme in the exam. What is the eligibility required for the VITEEE 2023 examination?

The eligibility criteria are one of the most important factors in the VITEEE 2023 examination. The students who are preparing for the exam should make sure that they fulfil all the requirements of the exam in order to sit for the examination. Only those students who will fulfil all the requirements will be allowed to fill out the application form and participate in the admission process. Those who will not fulfil the requirements will not be eligible for the exam. The detailed eligibility criteria have been given below for the aspirants' use.

1) Nationality:

• Indian citizens, NRI (Non-Resident Indian), PIO and OCI holders are allowed to submit the application form.
• OCI/PIO candidates will have to produce the certificate of schools located in India (in the previous 2 years). 

2) Educational Qualifications:

• The student who will qualify his/her class 12^th either from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), State Board and The Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, will be allowed to fill out the form.
• Or, the candidate should have cleared the Intermediate or 2-year pre-university exam from a recognised university/board.
• Or, the student should have qualified for the GCE (General Certificate Education) exam (Sri Lanka/London/Cambridge) at the Advanced-A level.
• Or, he/she must have passed HSCE from Cambridge University.

3) Minimum Marks Required:

• The student should have got a minimum aggregate mark of 60% in the PCM subjects in the qualifying exam. The reserved candidates and the Northeastern candidates are required to have scored a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the prescribed subjects.

4) Age Limit

• The minimum age for the VITEEE exam is 17 years.
• The student should be born on or after July 1, 1999. 

The DOB which will be there on the SSC/High School Certificate will be considered valid.

VITEEE 2023 result:

The results of the VITEEE 2023 exam will be released on the official website of the Vellore Institute of Technology. There is also a provision of SMS service through which the student will get a notification about the result on their registered mobile.

How to check the VITEEE 2023 results?

The students can check the below-mentioned steps to check the VITEEE result.

• First, go to the official website of the exam ie http://www.vit.ac.in.
• Now click on the ‘VITEEE 2023 Result’ button.
• Enter your VITEEE application number 2023 and DOB to log in.
• Your result will be displayed on the screen.

After the results are out, the student will be called for a counselling round on the basis of the marks obtained by him/her in the examination.

VITEEE 2023 counselling:

The students who will be called for the counselling round will have to fill out the counselling form. The counselling form will be available on the website. The student will log in using their login credentials. After logging, students are required to read through the instructions and enter the choices in the fields provided. The process of choice filling and locking will be provided to the students according to the schedule given. Students are also required to submit a registration fee of ₹ 5000/-Students are required to fill and submit the choices in two days following which the seat allotment will be announced for each round.

The students get the choice to select the campus and branch of their choice during the registration for the counselling. After registration, authorities verify the candidates' documents. After the verification is done, the students are allotted seats according to their rank, preference and availability of seats. The students who will be allotted seats have to upload their photograph/fingerprint/digital signature. 

What is the registration and admission process for the VITEEE 2023 examination?

The application form for the VITEEE exam is released on the official website of the examination. The students who want to appear for the VITEEE 2023 exam can avail the form in both online as well as offline modes. Students wanting to fill out their application form online should visit the official VIT website. And those aspirants who want to fill out their Application form offline can obtain the hard copies through the Post Offices, specified on the VIT official website.

How to Apply for VITEEE 2023 Online?

The application form for the exam will be available on the official website of VIT once it is out. The students who are wishing to fill out the application form for the exam can follow the below-mentioned steps.

• First, go to the official website of VIT, i.e. www.vit.ac.in.
• Now click on the ‘VITEEE 2023 exam application’ button.
• The application form filling process is divided into three stages which are Registration, Filling out the Application Form and Paying the Application Fee.
• The students will be required to register themselves on the website by providing basic details like name, email id, mobile number and address. 
• Once the registration is done, the student will get his/her login credentials (login ID and password) on the registered e-mail id.
• In this step, the student will log in with his/her credentials on the website and open the VITEEE 2023 application form tab.
• Now the student will fill out all the requisite details like educational qualification, certificates, age, name, address, parent’s details, etc in the form.
• After filling necessary information in the form, the student will upload the scanned copies of his/ her Photograph and Signature in the required sizes.
• In this step, the student will pay the application fee through net banking, credit card and debit card.
• Lastly the student will submit the form and save a copy of it for future use.
