Lovely Professional University organises NEST (National Eligibility and Scholarship Test) exam to form the basis of eligibility for various programmes and scholarships. The university-level exam offers admission to various engineering programmes. The scholarship scheme is also available for competent and capable aspirants. Interested candidates can log on to the official website of LPU NEST (http://nest.lpu.in/) and register for the exam. The application form can also be submitted in the offline mode. The offline application forms can be obtained from specific centres and are required to be submitted with the application fee.

What is the LPUNEST 2023 exam?

The Lovely Professional University (LPU) has announced the LPUNEST 2023 exam date for B.Tech. The exam dates for April are available at nest.lpu.in. As per the dates, LPUNEST 2023 online registration has started from 1 February 2023 for the April schedule. The last date for LPUNEST 2023 application form filling is 31 March 2023. LPUNEST 2023 B.Tech exam date is April 5 to 30 April 2023.

LPUNEST is conducted separately for each course in the online mode. After applying, the students are required to book slots following which admit cards will be issued by the conducting body. The link to download the LPUNEST 2023 admit card is sent to the candidates’ registered email ID.

LPUNEST 2023 results for the April session will be declared on the official website. The students who qualify for the entrance exam will be allowed to participate in the counselling and admission portal.

What is the eligibility required for the LPU NEST B.Tech exam?

The eligibility required for the B.Tech course is as follows.

  • The student should be a citizen of India.
  • Candidates must have passed the Class 12 (10+2 scheme) Board examination from any recognised education board with a minimum aggregate of 60 per cent in Physics, Mathematics, and English).
  • For Biotechnology, Food Technology, Biomedical Engineering: The mandatory subjects are Physics, Chemistry, English and Maths/ Biology/ Biotechnology
  • The subjects required for Chemical Engineering and Petroleum include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English

What is the eligibility required for the LPU NEST Law exam?

  • The student must have passed graduation in any stream.
  • For LL.M., the student should have passed LL.B with an aggregate of 60 per cent in LL.B, along with a valid score in LPUNEST (LAW).

What is the eligibility required for the LPU NEST Agriculture exam?

  • The student must have passed or appeared in Class 12 (10+2 scheme) from any education board with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 yrs. Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent.
  • The candidate should be an Indian citizen.

Eligibility required for LPU NEST Design:

  • The student should have passed or appeared in the class 12 board exam from any education board with an aggregate of 60 per cent in 10+2 (with English).
  • The students with 70 per cent or more in class 12 (10+2 scheme) will be exempted from appearing in LPUNEST and/ or UCEED. Such candidates are eligible to apply directly for admission.

Eligibility required for LPU NEST Hotel Management:

  • The applicant must have passed the class 12 board exam (10+2 scheme) with an aggregate of 50% subject to qualifying LPUNEST (Hotel Management). The student must have English in 10+2 to be eligible for LPUNEST (Hotel Management). 

Eligibility required for LPU NEST M.B.A:

  • The student should have completed or appeared in the final semester of a bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 55 per cent from a university, institution, college etc. recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
  • The student should have completed Completed Chartered Accountancy (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or Completed Company Secretary (CS) from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) or Completed Cost & Management Accountancy (CMA) from the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI).

Result

The result of LPUNEST 2023 will be announced by Lovely Professional University (LPU) 24 hours after the completion of the exam. The result is declared individually for each phase of the exam. 

Steps to Check LPUNEST 2023 Result

  • Go to the official website of the exam.
  • Enter user ID and password
  • The result will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and a print copy of the result for future use

Counselling

The counselling of LPUNEST 2023 for each phase of the exam is conducted in three rounds in online mode. For each round, seats will be allotted separately. Candidates will be allotted seats on the basis of rank and preferred course and/ or programme. After seat allotment, selected candidates must download the allotment letter and pay an initial fee of Rs. 15,000 to confirm the seats allocated to them.

At this stage, the student will need to fill out the admission form and upload the requisite documents.

Steps to fill LPUNEST 2023 application form:

1st Step: Registration – The students can register by entering a name, email ID, gender, and valid mobile number after which a registration ID will be generated and sent to their registered email ID.

2nd Step: Payment of Application Fees – Having successfully registered for the exam, the students will need to pay the requisite fee. Payment of fee can be made online or offline as shown below

5th Step: Submission of Application Form – After successfully uploading the required documents, The student will have to submit the application form for LPUNEST 2023. He/she should print a copy of the filled application form for future reference.
