Exam Overview
GUJCET 2022 - Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has released the GUJCET 2022 exam date at the official website. As per the dates, GUJCET 2022 exam is scheduled to be conducted on April 18. The exam authority will release the GUJCET 2022 admit card soon on the official website. Candidates will be able to download the admit card of GUJCET 2022 in online mode. The exam conducting authority will conduct the GUJCET 2022 exam for admission to Bachelor of Engineering and Technology/ Bechelor of Pharmacy courses in government, grant-in-aid and self-financed engineering institutions in the state. The authority has not yet released the GUJCET admit card 2022 dates. Candidates will be informed here once the admit card of GUJCET 2022 is released.
GUJCET 2022 entrance exam will be conducted in offline mode by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB). The question paper of GUJCET 2022 will consist of three hours duration and comprises multiple-choice questions. GUJCET result 2022 will also be available in online mode.
GUJCET 2022 results will include details about the subject-wise scores, total scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance test, and their percentile ranks. The authorities will prepare a merit list of candidates on the basis of their scores in GUJCET 2022. Candidates whose names will be included in the merit list will only be eligible to participate in GUJCET seat allotment 2022.
Candidates should note that the role of GSEB ends. The remaining part of the admission process, including counselling and seat allotment, is conducted by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).
GUJCET counselling will be conducted based on the merit list that will be drawn up by giving 40% weightage to percentile obtained by the candidate in GUJCET 2022 and 60% weightage to percentile obtained in board exams. The admission committee for professional courses (ACPC) will release the GUJCET seat allotment through the official website. Candidates need to log in and pay the necessary fees to confirm their admission.

Eligibilty
GUJCET B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2022 lists the terms and conditions that the candidate needs to meet in order to be considered for admission. In case a candidate doesn’t meet the eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2022, but qualifies in the entrance exam, the candidate will still be disqualified from the admission process. So, it is mandatory to meet the GUJCET eligibility criteria 2022 before filling the application form.

The following GUJCET 2022 eligibility criteria must be fulfilled by the candidates-
- Nationality – Indian nationals are eligible to appear in the exam.
- State Eligibility – The candidate needs to be a bona-fide resident of Gujarat. In such cases where the candidate is a bona-fide resident but is residing in another, the candidate is eligible to appear in the admission process.
- Academic Qualification – The candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. Candidates who are appearing in their final exam in 2020 are also eligible.
- Qualifying Marks – Minimum required aggregate score in 45% marks ( reserved category candidates need 40% marks).
GUJCET B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of GUJCET 2021 for B.Pharm candidates can have subtle differences from those mandated for Bachelor and Engineering and Technology courses. So, candidates appearing for B.Pharm must take note of this fact.
- Nationality – Indian citizens are eligible.
- State Eligibility – The candidate must be a resident of Gujarat. If the candidate is a bona-fide resident but is residing in another, in such cases also the candidate is eligible to appear in the exam.
- Academic Qualification – The candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) exam from Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Gandhinagar/CBSE Delhi/CISCE New Delhi/NIOS/International School Board. Candidates who are appearing in their final exam in 2020 are also eligible. The candidate must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of Maths or Biology.
- Qualifying Marks – Minimum required aggregate score in 45% marks ( reserved category candidates need 40% marks).

GUJCET result 2022 will be declared in online mode on the official website gujcet.gseb.org. GUJCET 2022 result will include details like the marks and percentile scored by the candidate in the entrance exam. Candidates will also be allowed to ask OMR sheet xerox copy within the specified dates.

- Download and take a printout of it.
The merit list of GUJCET 2022 will be prepared by Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) for shortlisting candidates for the counselling process. The final GUJCET merit list will be prepared by giving 60% weightage to 10+2th (or equivalent) percentile and 40% weightage to the GUJCET percentile. Candidates who are ranked high in the GUJCET merit list 2022 will be called first for counselling, and thus stand a better chance of getting a preferred seat.

Mode of Counselling: Offline
ACPC will conduct the GUJCET 2022 counselling and seat allotment process in online mode. To participate in the GUJCET 2022 counselling process, the candidate will have to register and fill in choices. The counselling and seat allotment of GUJCET 2022 will be held in two rounds with an additional mock round.
GUJCET 2022 Seat Allotment
ACPC will release the GUJCET seat allotment result 2022 in online mode. The candidate who will be allotted a seat will have the option to freeze (accept) the seat or opt for up-gradation. If the seats remain vacant after students withdrawal, additional spot/institute level, separate counselling will also be conducted. The counseling process is then followed by admission formalities for shortlisted candidates and payment of the GUJCET course fee.

The last date of GUJCET 2022 registration was February 9. Candidates were able to fill the GUJCET 2022 application form from the official website. Steps to fill GUJCET Application Form 2022
The step-wise process to fill the application form of GUJCET 2022 is given below for reference:
- GUJCET Registration: Candidates have to register by entering the required details.
- Payment of fee: Next, candidates have to log in and pay the application fee of GUJCET 2022 in online mode. The payment of Rs. 300 will be allowed through SBI Epay System (credit card/debit card/net banking) or from any SBI branch of the Country through SBI Epay Option of “SBI Branch Payment.” The late fee is Rs. 1500 (Rs. 300 + Rs. 1200).
- Filling of GUJCET 2022 Application Form: In this step, the candidate will have to enter their personal, academic and contact details.
- Uploading of documents: Candidates have to upload the scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
