The DNB PDCET 2023 exam is expected to be conducted in July 2023. The application form for the same will be announced from April 2023 to May 2023. It is important to note that the conducting authority NBE will only accept online application forms for DNB PDCET 2023 exam. Those who will submit applications successfully in the given timeframe will be issued admit cards. All the other exam-related information will be announced by NBE on the official website.

What is the DNB PDCET 2023 exam?

The full form of the DNB PDCET exam is the Diplomate of National Board Post-Diploma Centralised Entrance Test. It is a national-level medical entrance exam. This exam is conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE). Through this examination, students get admission to various Post Diploma DNB speciality courses.

DNB PDCET application form is released on the official website of NBE (nbe.edu.in). Admit cards for the exam will also be made available on the website once they are out. DNB PDCET admits card 2023 is mandatory on exam day for verification purposes. DNB PDCET exam is conducted online mode. All the other information related to the exam will also be released on the NBE website. 

Exam Pattern

What is the exam pattern of the DNB PDCET 2023 exam?

The exam pattern of the DNB PDCET 2023 exam is given below for the students to have a better idea of the exam.

  • The mode of exam is online.
  • The question paper will be in the English language.
  • A total of 8 sections are there in the question paper.
  • 200 questions are asked in the paper.
  • For every correct answer, the student will get 4 marks and for every wrong answer, one mark is deducted.
  • The questions will be MCQ type.

Eligibilty

What is the eligibility required for the DNB PDCET 2023 exam?

The students who have qualified for the Post Graduate Diploma qualification on or before July 31, 2023, are allowed to sit for the exam. The students can refer to the eligibility criteria given below. 

  • The student should have a Postgraduate Diploma from a university/ institute recognised as per the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956
  • The result of the final examination for the said Post Graduate Diploma qualification should have been declared on or before July 31, 2023.
  • The student should be registered with the Medical Council of India/ State Medical Council.
  • The students who are pursuing MD/MS/DNB courses are not allowed to appear for DNB PDCET 2023.

Result & Counselling

DNB PDCET 2023 results:

The result of DNB PDCET 2023 will be published on the official website of NBE, nbe.edu.in. The result of DNB PDCET 2023 is announced in the form of a merit list, which is published separately for 14 different specialities. All candidates have been given a rank in descending order of the marks obtained by them. The students who clear the examination are invited to participate in the online centralized counselling of DNB PDCET 2023 conducted by NBE. 

DNB PDCET 2023 counselling:

Only the students who will clear the exam and fulfill the other requirements of the exam will be called to participate in DNB PDCET counselling 2023

The students included in the counselling results will need to freeze the allotted seat and mandatorily have to download DNB PDCET 2023 allotment letter for round one. He/she will have to report at the designated college along with documents for verification and the DNB PDCET admission process. After the completion of the admission process, the authorities will conduct the other rounds of counselling of DNB PDCET 2023

A total of four rounds of DNB PDCET 2023 counselling are being organised wherein the first three will be online and the last round will be conducted in offline mode at the NBE office, in New Delhi.

How to fill out the DNB PDCET 2023 exam form?

The students who are wishing to sit for the DNB PDCET 2023 exam, can find the application form on the official website of the exam. The application form will be filled out online mode. The candidates can make the payment of the application form through Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card facilities.

Filling out the DNB PDCET 2023 application form is a six-step process. These steps are mentioned below for the students.

Step 1: Go to the official website of the exam and register yourself on the website.

Step 2: After the registration is done, you will get your login credentials on your registered email id and phone number.

Step 3: Now log in with your username and password and click on the application form.

Step 4: Now fill in the required details in the form and upload all the necessary documents and images. In the end, save the form.

Step 5: In this step, the student will choose the exam centre of his/her choice.

Step 6: Now do the application form fee payment.

Step 7: Once the payment is done, submit the form.

Step 8: Save a copy of the application form for future use.
