Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination 2023 will most likely be held in the month of June in two stages – Stage I and Stage II. The First Stage is the qualifying exam for Stage II. Through this exam, the students get admission into various technical colleges in the state. Students belonging to states other than Bihar are not eligible for this entrance exam. Moreover, interested students must produce the 10+2 or equivalent certificate from any recognised board.

What is the BCECE 2023 exam?

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) is the conducting authority of the BCECE examination. The exam conducting authorities releases the BCECE 2023 application form online mode for eligible aspirants. Students who are planning to sit for the entrance examination should check the BCECE 2023 eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance examination. 

Moreover, candidates preparing for BCECE 2023 are advised to check the syllabus and exam pattern of the exam for a better understanding of the exam. This will help in strategising effectively for the exam. 

All the registered students will be able to download the admit card for BCECE 2023 from the official website. Only those students who will carry the hall ticket at the exam centre will be allowed to appear for the entrance examination.

Eligibilty

What is the eligibility required for the BCECE Engineering exam?

The applicants should always check the eligibility criteria of BCECE Engineering 2023 to make sure that they are eligible to apply. Failing to fulfil the requirements of the exam, might cause you the cancellation of your application form. Here is  the detailed BCECE Engineering 2023 eligibility criteria.

  • There is no age limit for appearing for the exam.
  • The student should have qualified his/her Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology or
  • The students who have B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and have qualified 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject are also eligible to apply.
  • But for B.Sc. stream candidates, it is compulsory to clear the subjects Engineering Graphics /Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the First year Engineering Programme along with the Second year subjects.

Citizenship-

Along with being a citizen of India, the student should fulfil any one of the following requirements of citizenship

  • The applicant's parents should be natives of Bihar.
  • The applicant's parents are residents of some other place but work in Bihar.
  • The parents of the applicant are refugees who settled in Bihar.
  • Those candidates whose parents are employees of the pre-partition Bihar Government and whose department has not yet been divided and are still working as its employee in the region of Bihar/Jharkhand.
  • Whose parents are the employee of Bihar State Government or  PSU of Indian Government
  • Whose parents are the employee of Central Government and are located at Bihar

What is the eligibility required for the BCECE Para Medical exam?

The students must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria of BCECE  Para Medical 2023 as prescribed by the authorities. Check the detailed BCECE  Para Medical Eligibility criteria mentioned below:

Age Limit- 

The students applying for BCECE Para Medical 2023 should be at least 18 years old.

Academic Qualification-

  • The student should have passed two years of Para Medical Diploma courses.
  • The students who are yet to give the exams of the second year of the Para Medical Diploma course are also eligible to apply provided that they pass before the admission
  • The students are eligible to apply for that course of Para Medical only in they have passed their Diploma. 

What is the eligibility required for the BCECE Pharmacy exam?

  • The student should have cleared a two-year Diploma course in Pharmacy from a recognized University or Institution.
  • The students who are yet to give the exams of the second year of the Pharmacy Diploma course are also eligible to apply provided that they pass before admission.

Result & Counselling

BCECE 2023 Result:

The authorities will declare the result of BCECE 2023 online on the official website of the exam. 

Steps to Download BCECE 2023 Rank card:

  • Go to the official website- bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
  • Now click on “Rank Card of BCECE – 2023”.
  • Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth and click on the "Show Rank" button.
  • Merit list/Rank card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Download and take a printout.

BCECE 2023 Counselling:

The authorities will release the BCECE 2023 counselling schedule on the website. Candidates will receive notification regarding the counselling of BCECE 2023 either through the website of the BCECE board. The students are called for counselling on the basis of their ranks. BCECE  counselling 2023 is conducted online as well as offline mode in two rounds. 

The students get the opportunity to choose the desired course and college according to their preferences and rank. 

Registration & Application Process

Steps needed during BCECE 2023 registration:

The candidates can follow below mentioned steps while registering for the examination.

Step 1- Registration: The first step is registration where details like contact number, email address, etc had to be entered. The students are advised to enter their own contact number and email id as the details entered here will be used for further communication.

Step 2- Personal Information: In this step, the student will have to log in using the registered email id and password. Next, the student will enter their personal details here in this step. After entering personal details the student will click on Save and continue and move further.

Step 3- Upload Photo and Signature: The student will upload the scanned images of the photograph and signature in the prescribed format.

Step 4- Preview the application: In this step, the applicant will preview all the details entered by him/her before submitting it finally.

Step 5- Fee Payment: In this step, the students will pay the application fees using a debit card, credit card, internet banking or through bank challan. 

Step 6- Download the application form: Lastly the students are advised to download the application form and preserve it for further reference.
