Eligibilty & Entry Requirements
The eligibility criteria for MS, Int. Ph.D. and Ph.D. are as follows:
- Integrated (Int.) Ph.D. Program: A minimum of 55% marks at Bachelor’s level is required. Candidates appearing for their final year exams in Bachelor’s can also apply.
- Materials Science and Biological Science: Candidates having Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science can apply.
- Chemical Science: Candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Science with Chemistry as a major and mathematics as a subject at least up to PUC (10+2 level).
- For PhD/ M.S. (Research): Candidates must have qualified NET-JRF under CSIR/UGC fellowship schemes or DBT/ ICMR–JRF/ INSPIRE-JRF or GATE / JEST / GPAT. ME/MTech candidates are required to qualify one of the exams, however candidates without these exams qualified may also be considered.
