The University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad is an agricultural university at Dharwad in Karnataka, established on 1 October 1986. It runs five colleges, 27 research stations, six agriculture extension education centres, six Krishi Vigyan Kendras and an ATIC. Its jurisdiction covers seven districts of northern Karnataka: Bagalkot, Belgaum, Bijapur, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri and Uttar Kannada, a region that ranges from dry farming to heavy rainfall and irrigated land.
