Tamil Nadu National Law University is a state law university established by the Government of Tamil Nadu through an Act of the State Legislature (Act No. 9 of 2012), and it commenced functioning from the 2013-2014 academic year. Its 25 acre campus is at Navalurkuttappattu village on the Tiruchirappalli-Dindigul NH 45, about 12 kilometres from Tiruchirappalli railway junction. It offers the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) and B.Com. LL.B. (Hons.) programmes, with admission on the basis of marks scored in the Common Law Admission Test.
