Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University is a state university at Nanded in Maharashtra, established on 17 September 1994 by the Government of Maharashtra. It serves the southern part of the Marathwada region, covering the districts of Nanded, Latur, Parbhani and Hingoli. It has 13 schools on the main campus, sub-campuses at Latur and Parbhani and a constituent college at Hingoli, and more than 300 affiliated colleges offering 146 programmes in science and technology, humanities, commerce and management and interdisciplinary studies.
