St. Xavier's University, Kolkata is a private Jesuit university on a 16.64-acre campus in Action Area IIIB, New Town, Kolkata, with a city office on Mother Teresa Sarani. It was established on 8 February 2017, out of a plan the St. Xavier's College Calcutta Alumni Association drew up in 2011. It teaches commerce, management, economics, English, mass communication, psychology, statistics and data science, social work, law and engineering through Xavier Business School, Xavier Law School and Xavier School of Engineering and Technology.
