Shri Govind Guru University is a state university with its headquarters at Godhra in Panchmahals, Gujarat, established by the Government of Gujarat under Gujarat Act No. 24 of 2015 and now a state university under the Gujarat Public University Act 2023. Its jurisdiction spreads over the Panchmahals, Dahod, Mahisagar, Chhota Udepur and Vadodara (Rural) districts, and 286 colleges are affiliated to it. Its administrative building at Vinzol, Godhra was inaugurated in 2022.
