Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies - Sanchi

Sanchi University of Buddhist-Indic Studies was set up to revive Sanchi's standing as a seat of learning along the lines of Nalanda and Takshashila, and to teach Buddhist thought, Indian philosophy and the traditions and practices bound up with them. From the 2016-17 academic session it has run PhD, M.Phil and postgraduate programmes built around research in Buddhist studies, Indian philosophy and Sanskrit, and it also runs short-term diploma courses.
