Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences is the state health science university of Karnataka, based at 4th T Block, Jayanagar, Bengaluru.
Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences is the state health science university of Karnataka, based at 4th T Block, Jayanagar, Bengaluru. It was established on 1 June 1996 by the Government of Karnataka under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences Act 1994, bringing about 210 health science colleges then attached to the state's general universities under a single body. It now oversees close to 1,500 colleges teaching medicine, dentistry, nursing, pharmacy, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, physiotherapy and allied health sciences.
