O.P. Jindal University is a university at Punjipathra in Raigarh district, Chhattisgarh, established in 2014. It grew out of a plan by Shri O. P. Jindal, founding chairman of the OP Jindal Group, whose steel making began in Raigarh, to start a university in the area and educate the youth there. Its teaching is aimed at core sectors including steel, mining, power and construction.
