Martin Luther Christian University was created by Act No.
Martin Luther Christian University was created by Act No. 11 of 2005 of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, assented to on 6 July 2005, with the state gazette notification following on 22 February 2006. Named after Martin Luther, it is India's first full Christian university not focused on theological training, and works with government bodies, NGOs and industry on education, healthcare and community projects across Meghalaya and the Northeast.
