Library and Information Services - The library of the institute has a varied collection of books. Comtrade, Economic Census, Econlit, EPWRF Statistical Databases, IMF Stat Databases [Free], Indiastat.com, JSTOR, Monthly Statistics of Foreign Trade [MSFT], National Sample Survey [NSS], Oxford Uni Pr Journals [Economics], Science Direct [EEF Series], UNIDO Industrial Statistics, World Bank Stat Databases, etc. are some of the CD-ROM and online databases that have been subscribed by the library.
Computer Facilities - IGIDR has technically equipped computer centre that uses the latest software, hardware, networking equipment, and help desk facilities. The computer centre provides internet access at the college campus.
Seminar Halls, conference hall and Auditorium - Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research has two seminar rooms, one conference hall and one auditorium that are well equipped with the necessary facilities. The IGIDR auditorium has a seating capacity of approximately 500 students.
Hostel and Guest House - The university provides accommodation facilities to the students and has separate hostels for boys and girls with all the essential. Apart from this it also has a separate guest house for the visitors with 50 rooms.
