IISER Thiruvananthapuram was founded in 2008 by the Ministry of Education, Government of India, to integrate undergraduate science teaching with research. An autonomous institution located at Vithura near Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, it offers a five-year BS-MS programme along with iPh.D and Ph.D. programmes in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Earth & Environmental Science and Data Science.
