Goa College of Pharmacy traces its roots to a pharmacy department opened in 1842 at Escola Medica de Goa under Portuguese rule. After Goa's liberation, the institute was renamed Goa College of Pharmacy in 1963 and moved to its present campus on 18th June Road, Panaji. It teaches Diploma, Bachelor's, Master's and doctoral programmes in pharmacy.
