Dayananda Sagar University is a private university in Bengaluru, Karnataka, created by an Act of the Karnataka State Legislature in 2014. It grew out of the Dayananda Sagar Institutions, founded in the 1960s, and is run by the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust. The university teaches undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes across engineering, law, commerce and management, health sciences and design from its Harohalli and Kudlu Gate campuses in Bengaluru.
