Datta Meghe Institute of Higher Education and Research, formerly Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences, is a deemed-to-be-university at Sawangi (Meghe), Wardha, Maharashtra. The University Grants Commission recognised it as a deemed university in 2005, and it holds UGC 12B status and graded autonomy. Its constituent colleges teach medicine, dentistry, nursing, physiotherapy, Ayurveda, pharmacy and allied health sciences, and it runs teaching hospitals at Wardha and Nagpur.
