Christian Dental College Ludhiana was established in 1992 through the efforts of Dr A. V. Chowdhary, then director of Christian Medical College, Dr J. L.
Christian Dental College Ludhiana was established in 1992 through the efforts of Dr A. V. Chowdhary, then director of Christian Medical College, Dr J. L. Joshi, its first principal, and Rev. Charles Reynolds. It opened with the Bachelor of Dental Surgery course and was set up to train professionals willing to work in under-served parts of India through mission fields and sponsoring agencies. It works under the mission of the Christian Medical College Ludhiana Society, which trains medical, dental, nursing and other health professional students on behalf of the Church.
