Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University is a state university at Dhanore Jarallan in Rajouri district, Jammu and Kashmir. It came into existence in 2002 through an Act of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly and is named after the Sufi saint Hazrat Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah. It runs undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes through schools of engineering and technology, biosciences and biotechnology, mathematical and computer sciences, management studies, humanities and languages, social sciences, education, nursing and biomedical sciences, and material sciences and nanotechnology.
