All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Patna is a public medical institute in Phulwarisharif, Bihar, one of six new AIIMS set up under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana. Its foundation was laid on 2 January 2004, and the institute itself came into existence in 2012, with its official inauguration on 25 September 2012.
