All India Institute of Medical Sciences - Delhi

The total area of the campus is 115 acres. AIIMS New Delhi set up an Innovation Facilitation Division in 2017 for accommodating AIIMS faculty and scientists as incubatees. A Bio-Park is also under construction. MoU with other incubators to invite the startups for commercial ventures are also signed.

AIIMS Students and Alumni Association is known as AIIMSONIANS and there is a Society of Young Scientists (SYS) for the students. The annual fest Pulse is organised by the AIIMS Students’ Union and it is a socio-cultural, literary and sports fest which was first held in the year 1973.

AIIMS New Delhi provides all the required facilities which are necessary for students learning and skills enhancement purposes. They offer a library, computer centre, medical, hostel, and much more. The details are given below.

Hostel: The institute offers hostel accommodations to students. Separate hostels are provided by the institute for boys and girls. The hostels are furnished and equipped with an internet facility, mess, a recreational area, and all basic amenities required.

AIIMS Delhi had established a Centre for Integrative Medicine and Research (CIMR) in 2016 with an aim to build convergence of contemporary medicine with India’s ancient and traditional medical practices. CIMR is dedicated to research, documentation and delivery of holistic healthcare. A patent has been granted to ‘Sealbio: a novel non-obturation regenerative technique of endodontic treatment’. Another patent on ‘Method for automatic detection of anatomical landmarks in volumetric data’ has been applied.
