The MCC/DGHS Conducts the counselling process of 100% of seats of All-India Institute of Medical Sciences [AIIMS], New Delhi, MBBS seats. The NEET 2023 Cut-off will be based on various parameters like the number of appearing candidates, the number of seats, the difficulty level of the examination, and last year’s admission record. Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates included in the NEET UG merit list can proceed with choice filling. They need to log in to their registered account to access the choice-filling option. It is crucial to note that candidates who fail to fill in their preferred choices will not be considered for the seat allotment process. Additionally, they must lock their choices before the specified deadline to be eligible for the subsequent stages of NEET counselling.

Uploading the essential documents/certifications after the declaration of the result: After the seat allotment list is declared by the MCC, candidates need to upload the documents on the website of MCC.

Document Verification at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences [AIIMS], New Delhi: Applicants who have been allotted a seat and wish to proceed with it must report to the respective institute (AIIMS, New Delhi) for document verification. During the verification process, candidates must carry their original certificates and two attested copies for validation. Additionally, they will need to pay the tuition fee for the current academic year to confirm their admission. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in round one can opt for willingness to upgrade from round 1 to round 2 for which they will have to physically report with original documents at the allotted college here in the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences [AIIMS], New Delhi.

Note: if a registered candidate is not allotted a seat, he can participate in round 2 directly without fresh registration.

Seat Matrix and Merit List: MCC/DGHS will provide a list of participating institutes along with the available seats for each category. Following this, the NEET UG merit list will be released.

Eligibility for Institute of National Importance-Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET):

Institute of National Importance-Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) is an entrance examination conducted by the AIIMS for admission to various postgraduate medical courses such as MD, MS, DM/Mch, etc. in India.

The eligibility criteria for the Institute of National Importance-Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET) for admission to AIIMS are as follows:

·       Candidates must have a recognized MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate from a recognized medical college or university.

·       Candidates should have completed their one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before 31st March of the year in which they are appearing for INI-CET.

·       Candidates should have a valid registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI) or the State Medical Council (SMC).

·       Indian nationals, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO), and foreign nationals are eligible to appear for INI-CET.

·       General category candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in the INI-CET exam, while reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) must secure a minimum of 40% marks.

Age Limit: There is no age limit for INI-CET.

Contract:

If the candidate leaves the course within 6 months of joining, he/she shall be liable to pay a sum of Rs.3,00,000/-(Rupees Three Lakh only); and if the candidate leaves after 6 months of joining, he/she shall be liable to pay a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh only) as compensation for losses incurred by AIIMS due to such midstream departure.

EMOLUMENTS:

Junior Residents/Demonstrators (on contract service for three years tenure period) will be paid a sum of Rs.15600 + Rs.5400 Grade Pay + NPA and other allowances as admissible under 7th CPC.

LEAVE:

During the term of employment, he/she will be entitled to leave as under:

• First year: 30 days leave, calculated on a pro-rata basis (i.e. during the first year of their tenure, they will be sanctioned leave only on the basis of number of days that they have already earned).

• Second year: 36 days leave

• Third year: 36 days leave

Maternity Leave:

Female Junior Residents (Academic) are entitled to maternity leaves as per Govt. of India rules during their course with full pay. Their period of registration/training will be extended for the equivalent period of leave availed. They will have to work for an extended period and the final examination of the candidate shall be held with next batch.

Thesis Grant:
