NEET PG Counselling Process 2023 for Goa Medical College & Hospital:

MCC holds online counselling for 50% of All India Quota Post-Graduate Medical and Dental seats of Goa Medical College & Hospital (University of Goa), MCC usually conducts counselling for the following:

All India Quota seats: 50%

Central Universities All India Quota and Institutional seats: 100%

Deemed Universities: 100%

Employee State Insurance Corporation AIQ seats: 50%

All P.G seats of Armed Forces Medical Services Institutions: Only the Registration part

Central Institutes, GMCH & Safdarjung Hospital, GMCH and ESIC Institute, PGIMSR, Basaidarapur: 50% All India Quota seats and 50% seats of I.P University

As per the notification issued by the MCI for common counselling. there will be four rounds of counselling i.e., Round 1, Round 2, Round 3 & Stray Vacancy Round for the Goa Medical College & Hospital, which will be conducted by the MCC. Candidates should have qualified NEET PG 2023 and it is a domicile-free process.

 

Seat intakes: MCC/DGHS conducts the 50% All India Quota counselling process of the Goa Medical College & Hospital and the remaining 50% will be done by the state counselling authority (University of Goa) under state quota seats. The reservation policy of the Central Government is followed and the same is applied only to the seats contributed by the college to MCC. There are the steps to complete the process:

Registration Process for the Goa Medical College & Hospital: To fill out the NEET PG 2023 counselling application form, candidates are required to register on the official website of www.mcc.nic.in. It is essential to note that online registration is mandatory for all applicants.

Steps to register for MCC/DGHS NEET PG 2023 counselling:

  1. Visit the official website of MCC//DGHS at www.mcc.nic.in.
  2. Click on 'NEET PG Medical Counselling.'
  3. Enter the NEET 2023 roll no., Rank, and DOB.
  4. Register using a valid email ID and mobile number. Enter the captcha and click ‘Validate’.
  5. Make a note of your login credentials.
  6. Log in again to complete the application form.
  7. Provide your personal and academic details.
  8. Review the form before submitting it.

NOTE:

·       communication will be sent by the MCC/DGHS, and MoHFW through email on the registered e-mail address or SMS on the registered Mobile Number only.

·       Any complaint regarding the alteration of email address or phone number is not entertained by the MCC/DGHS or MoHFW.

·       To avoid any technical issue while choice filling, use the latest version of the PC or Laptop.

·       Candidates are advised to confirm their eligibility/domicile status before registering on the MCC website for Institutional Quota seats of Central Universities/Institutes/ Deemed University before opting for their seats.

·       No communication will be directly sent to the Candidate(s) by the MCC. They are advised to be in touch with the website on a regular basis for any updates.

 

NEET PG Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates included in the NEET PG merit list can proceed with choice filling. They need to log in to their registered account to access the choice-filling option. It is crucial to note that candidates who fail to fill in their preferred choices will not be considered for the seat allotment process. Additionally, they must lock their choices before the specified deadline to be eligible for the subsequent stages of NEET counselling.      

Seat Allotment List for NEET PG 2023: MCC will prepare the seat allotment list regarding taking admission to Goa Medical College & Hospital, MBBS seats, MCC/DGHS will prepare the seat allotment list for AIQ (100%). NEET 2023 counselling is based on the applicant's merit position and the choices filled by them.

Uploading the essential documents/certifications after the declaration of the result: After the seat allotment list is declared by the MCC, candidates need to upload the documents on the website of MCC.

Document Verification for NEET PG at the Goa Medical College & Hospital: Applicants who have been allotted a seat and wish to proceed with it must report to the respective institute for document verification. During the verification process, candidates must carry their original certificates and two attested copies for validation. Additionally, they will need to pay the tuition fee for the current academic year to confirm their admission. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in round one can opt for willingness to upgrade from round 1 to round 2 for which they will have to physically report with original documents at the allotted college here in the Goa Medical College & Hospital.

Note: if a registered candidate is not allotted a seat, he can participate in round 2 directly without fresh registration.

NEET PG 2023 Seat Matrix and Merit List: MCC/DGHS will provide a list of participating institutes along with the available seats for each category. Following this, the NEET PG merit list will be released.

The remaining 50% of seats will be done through the state counselling authority (the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa) for the state quota seats. Candidates may visit the official website of the University of Goa at www.dte.goa.gov.in or www.fmsc.in

The medical counselling committee (MCC) does not allow any seat on a nomination basis.
