To provide admissions to various B.Tech/B.E. programmes, the Amrita University, also known as the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, conducts Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination. The university-level examination invites applications from interested and eligible candidates in the first-half of December 2018. AEEE is a 4-year programme offered by the varsity in all its campuses. The AEEE 2020 exam will be commenced in both online and offline forms in the month of April.

Exam Overview

AEEE 2022 -  The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Deemed to be University) has revised the AEEE 2022 exam date for phase I & II. As per the AEEE 2022 revised dates, phase 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted from June 16 to 19 while phase 2 exam will be conducted from June 28 to July 1 in online mode. Earlier, the exam authority has released the Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering (AEEE) application form 2022 on its official website at However, the exam conducting authorities have not released the last date to submit AEEE 2022 application form yet. AEEE exam 2022 will be conducted in an online centre-based mode. However, the exam conducting authority has the right to change the mode of the exam at any point in the process. 

Along with the exam date, the authorities has also notified other dates of Amrita University form 2022 for B.Tech admissions. The authorities offer B.Tech admission at the AEEE participating institutes through Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering and JEE Main scores. Note that candidates who wish to apply through JEE Main will have to complete the AEEE 2022 application procedure on or before the last date but they need not appear in the entrance exam. 

Candidates who will successfully complete the AEEE registration process will be able to book their slots for AEEE 2022 exam within the specified time. After slot booking, candidates will be able to download their AEEE hall tickets 2022 from the official website. 

Candidates who will qualify for the exam will be eligible to participate in the AEEE counselling and seat allotment 2022 process. AEEE 2022 seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit, preference, and availability of seats. JEE Main candidates will be eligible for direct admission.

For each correct answer, three marks will be given, while one mark will be reduced for each incorrect response.


Amrita University has released the AEEE eligibility criteria 2022 on the official website. Candidates looking for BTech admission at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will have to meet the prescribed AEEE eligibility criteria, or else they will not be considered for admission even if they qualify for the exam.

Each applicant is advised to check the AEEE 2022 eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Ineligible candidates will not be considered for admission. Should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with minimum 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as taken together. In addition, the minimum marks for each paper is 55%.

Note that candidates who will be appearing in the qualifying examination and expect to secure minimum marks as mentioned above can also apply for admission.

Result & Counselling


The authorities will release the AEEE 2022 result on the official website.  To check the AEEE result 2022, candidates have to log into the portal using the email ID and password. Along with the results, the authorities will also release the AEEE 2022 rank list. 

The AEEE 2022 rank list will be prepared by aggregating 60% of PCM marks from AEEE 2022 and 40% of PCM Marks from class 12/qualifying examination after normalizing the marks across various boards. Only those candidates who will qualify for the exam will be eligible to participate in the AEEE 2022 counselling.

Mode of Counselling: Offline

Candidates shorlisted for AEEE rank list 2022 will be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process. Qualified candidates will have to register for AEEE counselling to be eligible to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process with the specified dates. The authorities offer Amrita BTech admission based on AEEE and JEE Main scores. The CSAP registration schedule for AEEE as well as JEE Main aspirants will be notified separately.

How to complete AEEE 2022 CSAP registration

Step 1: Login into the CSAP Portal.

Step 2: Fill the all required fields inside CSAP then verify the registered mobile number and email id with OTP after that pay the amount of Rs. 5,000 for the AEEE 2022 counselling registration charge. Once the payment is completed candidates can go to the seat allotment process and block their preference before the last date of registration.

Step 3: On seat allotment process Page; read the instructions carefully then proceed with the academic preference.

Step 4: Candidates can see the academic preference.

Step 5: Candidates can start filling the choices.

Step 6: Once the choice is completed take the print out.

Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of rank of the candidate and choices entered. The candidate needs to complete both the steps to be considered for seat allotment.
