What is the eligibility required for M.Com?
Candidates who want to pursue their career with an M.Com degree should look at the eligibility criteria before taking admission to an M.Com college. The eligibility criteria for the M.Com course are given below.
- The student should have a B.Com/ B.Com Honours or its equivalent degree from a recognised institute/college.
- The minimum percentage criteria are 50% aggregate or above in graduation.
- Some colleges also take students in M.Com courses who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Statistics, BFIA, BBS and BBE with a minimum aggregate score of 60% or equivalent from a recognized university.
- Reserved category students get marks relaxation of up to 5% in government universities/colleges.
- There is no upper age limitation for admission to the MCom course.

What is the M.Com syllabus?
During M.Com., students study theoretical subjects and do subject assignments, project work, internships and research work etc. In the last year of M.Com., the students are supposed to submit their dissection after doing relevant project work for 3-6 months duration.
